THE RICHMOND ACADEMY OF DANCE REVIEWS

For the past 6 years 2 of my children have been heavily involved in Richmond Academy of Dance programs. They offer the finest in training including ballet, musical theatre, voice, acting and a variety of other dance styles. All of the instructors are top level. Their programs are award winning, rigorous and designed to bring out the best in all of their participants. Our son recently graduated from the Academy and was so encouraged that he has moved onto a University level Musical theatre program. Richmond Academy of Dance provides professional and vibrant training where children experience confidence, growth and excellence in the performing arts.

I grew up at this studio and I owe them everything! It was the most amazing place to grow up, mature and be educated. I am now a professional dancer in Vancouver and I often think about the many opportunities that Richmond Academy provided me that have led me to the career that I have today. I have made life long friendships here and I am so grateful for every single staff member that shaped me into who I am today. So much love for this place.

I started taking the virtual RAD Rise classes and I absolutely love Miss Tati's Pilates, her enthusiasm and cheerful attitude make working out fun. The best part is the BANANA exercise!

DEFY GRAVITY DANCE COMPANY REVIEWS

Defy Gravity is such a special dance studio. My daughter was so lucky to train there for 8 years. She was encouraged, motivated and worked hard for some of the best teachers she has had in her dance career. The studio is clean, constantly updated and provides a positive environment for all the dancers. Not only are the dancers learning how to move gracefully, but they are also given opportunities to become leaders and give back to the community. It was a fantastic dance studio for my daughter to grow up in.

The instructors at Defy Gravity invest their time and energy to develop the talents and strengths of individual dancers - from beginners to special needs to pre-professional dancers many with different skill levels. They are caring and compassionate yet encourage their dancers to be the best human beings they can be. The staff at Defy are wonderful role models and fantastic mentors. Thank you for all that you have done for my daughter and for all the dancers at Defy Gravity.

Defy Gravity enables students to grow and flourish not only as dancers, but also as people. The caring and devoted faculty, and sense of community within the studio creates a wonderful dance experience, and instills a strong work ethic in the dancers - what more could parents ask for? :).
