DR. ROBYN HOULDEN - KINGSTON GENERAL HOSPITAL REVIEWS

I've been seeing Dr. Houlden for maybe 8 and a half years. I am a type one diabetic and will be going back to see her as I now have recently been diagnosed with pcos as well. She has helped me through 4 successful pregnancies, helped me very closely manage my diabetes and introduced me to the insulin pump. I am so grateful for her and her team. She is extremely knowledgeable and does not put down her patients. Dr. Houlden is very calm, relaxed and a comfortable professional to deal with. If you need an endocrinologist, she's the one you want to see. I cannot say enough good things about her.

Had my first appointment with Dr Houlden this week. Was seen first by a resident but Dr Houlden double checked everything with me when she came in the room. She spent a lot of time educating me about insulin pumps. Have decided to give it a try after years of insulin injections. Was pleased with appointment. Jim C

I have been a patient of Dr. Kovacs for approximately 22 years. Without her I most definitely would not be here. Luckily I was referred to her by my family doctor and I could not be happier. I had several problems related to my endocrine system and with many tests and years of treatment, I am still here. I have 4 wonderful grandchildren and the care I received, and continue to receive from Dr. Kovacs has allowed me to be a part of their lives. I am so grateful for the care that she has always provided for me.

Dr Kovacs is a very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. I have been seeing her for a number of years and certainly feel much better than my first visit with her. You can talk to her and she listens. She can always give you an answer. She is a sweet lovely lady and I appreciate her.

Wonderful dr. She is warm and caring and is always on time. She goes above and beyond for her patients. I have had several endocrinologists over the years and have never found that right fit before dr Kovacs. I highly recommend her!

I am writing this review as a physician and a patient; I am a physician myself and Dr. Farahani is my endocrinologist. He has been my doctor for the last few years. I find him to be one of the best endocrinologists who I have known during my medical career. He is very detailed oriented and spent time to get the correct data; As other reviews mention, he is very resourceful and up-to-date. He is a great clinician and for many decades he conducted numerous research studies. He runs his clinic like a clock, very organized and on time. This is a rare pattern these days for clinics. Very happy to know him as a colleague and being his patient.

I was very happy with my appointments with Dr. Farahani. He walked me through my condition and explained treatment options, all in plain language. Took the time to answer my questions. Staff was also very polite. Great job, team!

My wife and I got so much help from Dr. Farahani to control our blood sugar. Since we started seeing him, we feel much better and we are in control of our diabetes.
