DR. DAVIDE BARDANA - KINGSTON GENERAL HOSPITAL REVIEWS
He's operated on my shoulders 3 times now and I can't say enough about how much I appreciate him. From the beginning he was clear and honest with me about what the path would look like if I had that first operation: the potential benefits, recovery time-line, rate of failure, and if I chose to have another surgery if that one failed, what it could entail. When we were talking about operating for the third time, 2nd for this shoulder and the resident was wary of telling me that if it failed and I chose to operate again, it would be a shoulder fusion. He was very clear of the importance of the patient having all of the information, even if they might not be super happy about it. But more than anything, he is the first doctor who believed me about my joint issues, believed that it was more than clumsiness and that there might be something more to it. And that alone means more to me than I can express in any language, spoken or otherwise.
I don’t have enough good to say about this doctor. He is completely honest with you, gives you all the facts and if you have surgery he is right there reassuring you the whole time. Every appointment I had with him and in fact all the staff that work with him were beyond amazing! He changed my life with my surgery! I would highly recommend him!
Have had broken wrist surgery 3 years ago and just had a tear in my shoulder done from same accident, both went exceptionally well and perfect bedside manor.

DR. GAVIN WOOD - ORTHOWOOD REVIEWS
Dr. Wood helped me when nobody else would listen. I knew I was in severe hip pain but other doctors wanted to give me shots which were doing absolutely nothing because I needed both hips replaced. Dr. Wood replaced the left hip in February 2020 and the right hip in October 2021. I have never felt better. I am so grateful to have met this man. Dr. Wood is an amazing surgeon and has a wonderful bedside manner. I can't thank him enough for giving me my life back.
Dr. Wood completed 2 successful hip replacements on myself. Both were stellar experiences. He is highly skilled, personable, trustworthy and genuinely compassionate. I am indebted to Dr. Wood and his staff for giving me this second chance at a normal pain free life. I highly recommend.
Dr. Wood is a great surgeon. He did my hip revision, and I feel so good. This is the best I have felt in 7 1/2 years. Highly, highly recommend him.

DR. JEFF YACH - KINGSTON GENERAL HOSPITAL REVIEWS
I am so appreciative of Dr. Yach and his team. I was finally diagnosed with a cyst on my spine and also required a fusion (L4/L5) and when I saw Dr. Yach he was quick to add me to the list for surgery. Unfortunately I saw him March 14, 2020 however I was able to get into surgery Nov 2020. He explained everything well and the surgery has given me my life back! After about 7 months I was cleared to golf and work out with some cautions. Goal is to get back to Taekwondo and get my black belt. I hope I never need surgery again but if I do I will go back to him for sure. Many thanks!
I may be looking at surgery again on my spine soon. I feel blessed to be going to Dr. Yach once more to help me with the cyst problem. I feel that I will be getting the best care and solution to the problem with my spine. It is going to be a 4 hour trip to Kingston. I will have to stop often to get out of the vehicle to help with the pain due to having to sit that long. I have an unbearable level of pain in my legs, hips, and spine when sitting, walking or laying. I can not lay or settle in my bed at night. The pain will cause me to scream loudly and be thrown back onto the bed. Looking forward to returning to Kingston to see Dr. Yach and hopefully get relief.
Very kind, patient, attentive and knowledgeable. I had an ugly fractured wrist and he successfully repaired it. Follow up care is thorough, residents are active participants, takes his time to explain. I know this is trivial, but I also have a tattoo on my wrist, Dr. Yach and staff very considerate and thoughtful, took care to work around and re-align my tattoo, so it wouldn't be disfigured.
