Absolutely loved this spot! The fish was perfectly crispy, not oily at all, and tasted super fresh, cooked just right. The clam chowder was incredibly rich and flavourful, truly a standout dish. Portion sizes were generous but not too much, which made the whole meal feel just right. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the staff were genuinely kind and personable, which really added to the whole experience. Definitely a place I’d come back to for comforting, quality food done right!

This is our local fish and chips place, and it truly showcases the tradition and expertise they have in this business. The ambiance reflects its long-standing history, adding to the overall charm. I ordered calamari, cod, and chicken fingers with chips, and they were all delicious and incredibly fresh. The staff is very friendly and fast, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely keep coming back to this place and can recommend it to everyone.

The best fish & chips that I ever had. It is so delicious, the crunchiness is so good!!! We also had the fish tacos with avocado sauce and the lemon pie. Everything was delicious and well served. Also, the service is very nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

FRESCO'S FISH AND CHIPS REVIEWS

Went here for lunch and it wasn’t busy. We had heard some very good things about this restaurant and hubby and I have been searching for good fish and chips. They didn’t let us down! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They greeted us with a smile and gave good recommendations. We ordered the Halibut and I have to say it was the right choice. It wasn’t overly battered. It was a good fish to batter ratio. The chips were perfection. Made in house and fresh cut. What more could we ask for? And! They served creamy tartar sauce not in the package but in a small container on the side. It tasted fresh and was possibly made in house. We will definitely be back and it was worth the drive here.

My favourite fish and chips place that has been a Kensington Market institution in Toronto. We have been coming for years. It’s a must visit every time we are in the area. We love their fish and chips, whether it’s cod or haddock with the Miss Vickies breading. We also like to order the Fish, Shrimps and chips combo. The service is always friendly and there’s plenty of seats including a front patio area when the weather is good. The only small blemish that I can say is that prices have risen like everywhere else. If you haven’t been yet, this is a must.

I recently visited this charming establishment during a tour of Kensington Market. The place has a unique and interesting vibe, with Beatles posters adorning the walls, reflecting the owner's passion for the band. The staff was friendly, and the poutine was absolutely delicious. A delightful spot for Beatles fans and food lovers alike.

Omg, so delicious! First time going there, and it was amazing. Fish was huge, and perfectly cooked. Gotta get your fries well done. Just those extra few minutes makes a huge difference in taste. Service was wonderful and very friendly. I'm thinking dinner Friday night? Prices are reasonable, considering how expensive it is to eat out now.

Perfectly breaded halibut. Hand cut chips with the perfect amount of seasoning for the win! The staff were very friendly and they had great music.

They have great fish and chips, but we came for the traditional poutaine, and it was great. Cool laid back place and staff was nice too.
