We would like to thank the staff at Highland Funeral Home for their kindness, professionalism and support during our difficult time. We would first like to recognize Sheena for overseeing the entire process from beginning to end. We would also like to make special mention of Bill and Sheena who took care of our younger son, making him feel so important, courageous and safe. The wonderful card and gift they gave him was very much appreciated, and made him feel really special. Tyler and Brie assisted with the obituary and flowers and answered any questions we had. All of these staff members went above and beyond and did all they could to make such a challenging time less stressful for our family. For that, we will always be grateful. I want to say thank you for all the staffs in High land Funeral Home who were involved in my mom's memorial service and burial. I really appreciate your service. Special thanks to Philip who is very thorough in every details, very caring and professional. During the burial, the saddest moment, Philip was the one who kept an eye for us to make sure the coffin landed in the grave at the right angle. He is a God sent angel for people who are mourning. After my father passed away we held the funeral service at highland funeral home Markham chapel. All the staff were professional and compassionate. Especially Philip Cheng, who helped organize my father’s funeral. He treated us with kindness and patience. My mother’s first language is Cantonese. Philip was able to fluently communicate with her and meet all of our cultural requirements for the funeral. Everything went smoothly the day of the service. Thank you to highland funeral home and Phillip for their help during a difficult time for my family.

On March 1st, we lost an amazing man, a husband, father, uncle, brother, and dear friend to many. We were all in shock by his sudden passing and not fully prepared in advance for the events that followed. Thankfully we were in the best of hands with Dixon Garland Funeral Home and they helped to get the family ready. Our sincerest gratitude to the Dixon Garland Management and all the staff for making our experience during this difficult time much easier. Dixon Garland helped us host a very loving gathering with family & friends. We could not have asked for anything more.

Customer service was professional . I dealt with Lino most of the time and he was awesome, he returned my emails so promtly and answered all my questions and concerns. Dealing with wonderful people during such a difficult time was extremely helpful.

Such caring staff!! And so very personable. Everything was beautifully appointed and we left with a warm glow over a sad event.
