My family and I feel very fortunate to have had McKenzie Funeral Services assist us with the preparations for my Mother after her recent passing. From our first meeting with Mark we knew we were in caring capable hands. There were so many important details big and small to think about and Mark made all those decisions and choices easy for us to make. McKenzie Funeral Services allowed us to put our minds and hearts fully into mourning and celebrating my Mother without being distracted and pulled in different directions by all the arrangements and organizing. We just hosted our mother’s celebration of life at Hollyburn. I was the only connection in my family in town to try and organize the event and was initially very overwhelmed. Charlene always made herself available, at any time of day, to help me with the process and even sometimes the grief. Her husband Keith dealt with all the technical needs required which made things simple and stress free for me. There were so many thoughtful touches the day of the ceremony, and the venue is SO lovely. It truly was a celebration, and my mother would have been throughly impressed and touched. Thanks again Charlene and Keith for holding my hand, taking me through such an emotional process with such grace and professionalism.
