Quick, kind, and knowledgeable. I was nervous for my procedure and he took my preferences into account and made sure I felt listened to and had agency. Explained things thoroughly. Had a pleasant attitude that put me at ease. Was considerate to me as a trans patient, checking my pronouns and taking care to avoid gendered language when referring to my medical care. My appointment was for something I dreaded immensely, but which was medically prudent, and I was sincerely surprised that it was so tolerable thanks to the speed of the procedure and the personal respect I was shown. I did have to wait nearly three hours while quietly freaking out, but every staff member I saw was excellent and doing their best with an overloaded medical system, so I don't fault them for it.

I was a patient for nearly 20 years. He delivered my second child and due to timing his partner delivered my first. Dr. Somerville is the most thorough, kind, knowledgeable, outstanding Gynecologist I have ever had (I have had many due to medical issues). I have two healthy children due to Dr. Somerville's wisdom, confidence and quick decisions. This rating thing should not include a rating for punctuality because babies are not born punctually. I would be glad to wait or reschedule to see Dr. Somerville. He saves lives and that is worth some patience and compassion for what other mothers and their babies experience.

Very informative regarding my surgery and answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable.

She was the on call OB when my daughter went into premature labour. She had been a high risk patient and her regular OB didn't monitor her closely at all. In fact, she couldn't be bothered to leave her office to come for my daughter as it was inconvenient. Dr A delivered my grandson with no problem. After the placenta was delivered, my daughter began to hemorrhage. We were terrified. It was a lot of blood and the pain was severe. Dr A was able to stop the bleeding and surgery wasn't necessary. It turned out that there had been some previa which her OB hadn't found even though my daughter saw her for pain a month before. Dr A came around to check on her but her regular OB sent a resident a few days later for a 5 minute visit. Dr A is my hero. She kept reassuring us and was so kind and she saved my daughter's life that day.

She was the dr on call the day I went into labour, she was so much more caring and understanding than the other drs I saw there. She ended up delivering my sweet baby by emergency c section and was so calming. She took care of me throughout the night and throughout my post pregnancy.

My oldest daughter had sevre complications during her pregnacy and thanks to dr. Arbilez hard work the baby was born full term and healthy ...then my youngest daughter had an emergancy c sectuon due to high fluid..she began to hemrage ..dr arblez saved her and my grand daughter .....i will for ever be greatfull to her for both my healthy children and grandchildren......

My surgery had to be cancelled because of a more serious health issue at the time, but I was so very impressed by Dr. Luz and hope to see her soon for a temporary procedure. Loved her! - S Reply

Had Dr Kyle as my doctor for my first pregnancy and she was amazing. Hands down made the whole experience less “scary”. She’s a straight up doctor who says it how it is & I could not have asked for a better doctor for my first pregnancy.

Dr.Kyle has been amazing to deal with.. I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor in my 34 years of life. She is gentle, thorough and informative. This island is lucky to have her. Thank you Dr.Kyle!!!
