“Dr. Michael Kellam graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 1986. He worked in Creston and Osoyoos before moving to Nanaimo. He completed pediatrics and vision therapy internships at the State University of New York and the therapeutics program at Pacific University in Oregon. He was named a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Kellam has been actively involved in the B.C. Optometric Association, serving in various roles, including councillor, ethics chair, chair of the vision therapy committee, AGM chair, PR chair, past treasurer, and chair of the continuing education committee, where he helped create the first 100-hour TPA course for Canadian optometrists. He is currently practicing at FYidoctors. The clinical staff has been extensively trained to clean all equipment and touchpoints throughout the clinic. They offer a variety of services, including comprehensive eye exams, prescription glasses, sunglasses, contact lens fittings, and other optometric services designed to help you achieve and maintain optimal vision.”
