3 Best Hiking Trails in Newmarket, ON

It’s a very nice and quiet trail, great for bikes or walking. Here you can spot different kinds of flowers, birds and bugs. We only went up to the bridge, it was too hot to keep going. I believe it’s a long trail, since it’s a big conservation area.There is a small parking lot available from Green Lane.

As part of my usual hiking/running trail that connects to the Tom Taylor Trail it is a natural beauty. If you're looking for a fresh scenic walkway with a small river flowing by your side this is the place to be. Great for relaxing while you take a stroll or run.

Such a nice trail and the new boardwalks along the old abandoned locks look amazing. The trail is on both sides of the river, so you may miss one of the trails (beside the golf course if you're not looking for it.) Definitely worth the bike ride or walk.

Gorgeous walk, tucked away just north of the 401, but you’d have a hard time believing it when trekking this beautiful remote forest filled with a variety of trees and a few nice water holes and a even a few waterfalls to discover just off the main trails! We started the trial at the north side of Mulock. There's a convenient parking lot there by the baseball field and steep hill. Walking south through Tom Taylor will get you here. The trail is very nice for walking or biking. There are a lot of bikers and is a good way to burn off an hour or two.

Very well maintained trail. Me and my husband visited this park last weekends from Richmond Hill. It was good for us to walk our dogs and I guess the park is connected to other huge parks. This time we just made a small circle but will definitely come back to walk more.
