Fairy lake is a well maintained park with asphalt pathways. The lake connects to many bike/walking trails through Newmarket. There is a large play area with climbing structures. There is also an area with chess boards. Very close to Newmarket main street so easy to walk to shops/restaurants.

Mon - Sun Dawn - Dusk

My all time favourite 4 season hiking trail in Newmarket. It's a piece of hiking paradise close to the city yet feels very remote. The trails zig zag and the hills plus 99 steps provides a great challenge for novice to intermediate hikers. Beware of ice during the winter months as it can get treacherous on the hills and steps!

Great trail for small hikes with the dogs, options of river walk or dog park make it easy to spend alot of time here. Always sports going on in the fields too which we enjoy watching from our balcony which oversees the park.
