OLD TOWN HALL REVIEWS
I never thought I was a pottery fan, but I recently attended the Old Town Hall pottery event in Newmarket, Ontario, and I was very surprised by the experience! The venue exuded historical charm, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the art on display. The pottery pieces showcased incredible craftsmanship and creativity, with a diverse range of styles and techniques. The event was expertly organized, allowing attendees to interact with the artists and even invited attendees to try pottery at another organized event. From the welcoming atmosphere to the stunning works of art, this event truly celebrated the beauty of pottery. I left feeling inspired and eager to explore my own creativity. Highly recommended for art lovers and pottery enthusiasts alike!
What a great facility! So glad that they’ve opened this for use again! I’ve been both a spectator and a participant in productions held here and it’s just great! The fact that they have the dressing room adjacent to the stage is so useful. And the lighting and sound is always so well done! So kind of the city to allow independents theatre groups to use the space!
Great place to celebrate milestones! The staff was very friendly. Nikki who gave us a tour was splendid! The staff overall was pretty warm.

NEWMARKET PUBLIC LIBRARY REVIEWS
Very nice and welcoming place. Can feel a bit intimidating at first with it's old theather/ community center design, but throughout the 3 floors there's a space for almost all the needs of the community! The basement is filled with more mature content such as self help books and non fiction, the main floor is general and upstairs is all kids and teens. Really friendly and accommodating layout in that sense I'm surprised how well they used the space they have. Feels like a cared for modern library.
Great resources (other than books you can borrow games, movies, board games, tools, kitchen appliances etc); computers and printing available and they even have a 3D printer at certain times. The staff is very efficient and helpful. There are several areas to work/study, or you can rent a room.
The staff are actually very nice and they keep the place very clean. Great place to study and quiet.
