Very nice park. Enjoyed the Artisan Festival. The walking paths are nice. Was disappointed however that the washrooms were up a hill on the grass and appeared to have a step into them, which didn't appear to be wheelchair accessible.
Beautiful park in the heart of Newmarket. The biking, walking trail is well used. It connects to an extensive network of walking/biking trails. A peaceful place to relax. Yes, that is a manhole cover in the middle of the grass field. You don't see that very often.

GEORGE RICHARDSON PARK REVIEWS
One of the many hidden gems that arent so hidden in Newmarket. The Tom Taylor trail and larger Nokidaa trail system make for excellent excersize options. The town of Newmarket really did a good job with the path and I highly recommend it to everyone. The path markers are a great addition.
Epic trail for walking, running, and cycling. It goes up to East Gwillimbury which is very nice if you enjoy going longer distances.
Pretty good park, nice play to watch great fireworks display. Family friendly environment.
