“Magna Centre is a state-of-the-art recreation complex located at 800 Mulock Drive. The centre has a 25-meter community pool, a 21-meter learning pool, a full-sized gymnasium, a walking track, and three multi-purpose rooms. There are five meeting rooms available to rent. The centre offers a wide range of leisure activities for children and adults. Magna Centre has multiple ice pads for hockey and skating, pools, basketball courts, indoor walking and jogging tracks, and activity rooms. The centre has a large swimming pool, and the ice rink is also spacious. If you require a meeting space, you can easily contact them to host an event or attend one of their programs.

2025 Update: The staff are friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The centre also hosts a variety of programs and classes, catering to different skill levels and interests, which makes it a hub for local community activities.”

“Recreation Youth Centre & telMAX Indoor Skate Park has a large indoor Sk8 park with 10,000 square feet of ledges, stairs, rails, gaps, boxes, banks, custom ramps, a wall ride with five feet of vert, and a 32-foot-wide area. Recreation Youth Centre & telMAX Indoor Skate Park offers children and youth a safe place to hang out with friends and participate as much or as little as they like. The centre offers both drop-in and registered programs. The centre has a skate park and a gym. You can register for scheduled programs and activities or drop in to participate. MAGNA CENTRE REVIEWS

Large bright multi-use facility. Pool change rooms are large and clean and stalls available for families (very helpful for parents with young children). Some of the lockers could use some TLC (rust, missing doors) but not a big deal. My children have used the gymnasium, pool and rinks. Hockey change rooms are clean and in good shape. Plenty of parking and lot in good shape.

Great swimming facility, fantastic trainers yoga, zumba, aqua zumba - simply the best place to get your body moving and pump life into seniors like myself! Will miss Magna Centre after my few weeks in Canada end next month! Thanking my daughter for selecting Magna.

Great facility and friendly staff. Their pool is always at a comfortable temperature which is what I get the most use out of. Would love if they could get a cold plunge in the future!

RAY TWINNEY RECREATION COMPLEX REVIEWS

I like the facilities here and the ample parking is free. They have an indoor pool and a slide (check to see what time the waterside is operating- it's not on all of the time), they have a kiddie pool and a sauna, all of which you can access during public swim. There are showers in the change rooms and lockers. I recommend you lock your purse/wallet as I have heard that items have gone missing from poolside in the past. There is also a rink here and multi purpose rooms to rent.

Wonderful place in the comuninity to go to. The staff is friendly and organized and does a great job of keeping the complex clean. Great place to keep active and have a sauna and a swim in Newmarket for only 3 dollars. You can't beat it. Very happy with my visit and am planning on making it part of my routine.

But honestly this is actually a decent gym. That's an 18-year-old guy who was interested in getting massive this has everything I need. People are really kind and super gentle. Honestly as long as you just don't break any rules you be fine.

This was one of the best family experiences I have ever had. One of the staff at my child when he hit him in the shin with his scooter (it was completely accidental). I am pleased, one star. I will never bring my children here again.

I my self have been there a few times and every time I go it’s a great experience and staff and the riders are nice not only that if you don’t have that much money it’s a good price to get in.

It is a good size for games,skatepark,basketball court it has everything for a starter in skateboard or scooter and has different stuff like pool table tennis air hockey and foot ball.
