FAIRMONT EMPRESS

This was a bucket list trip. I can't say enough about how amazing the food was. They take gluten free very serious. I honestly didn't want to go back to America because they haven't figured it out like the Empress has. I'm so impressed. Can't wait to go back. Best tea service! What a beautiful experience. We really just stayed at the hotel for all of our meals. I love it there.

Fairmont Empress is a travel destination on its own. I recommend experiencing everything it has to offer. The hotel is plastic free! The rooms are spacious and bright with feather duvet and pillows and a comfortable mattress. The food is fresh and locally sourced. The service were fabulous in every outlet. The cocktails are one of a kind not easily found anywhere else. The SPA massage and its facilities were fabulous.

This is our 2nd time in Victoria. We missed this the 1st time, so while on a cruise we had to wander into the Historic Empress Hotel and see what all the fuss is about. We weren't disappointed. The exterior and interior in stunning and like it's frozen in a bygone Era. There are beautiful totem poles on the back section that you can wander through. There are shops that have tea, souvenirs and high end clothing etc. We meet friends for cocktails on the front patio and enjoyed their signature gin. It was a beautiful lavender color and very tasty. If you're in Victoria this classic is a must see.
