When we visited the Father Pandosy Mission, there were only a few other people around and the area is very peaceful with huge willows at the entrance. It was very interesting reading about the buildings, houses, machinery, and antiques as part of this historical recreation. We would have liked more information on Father Pandosy himself (who he was, his story, the First Nations Peoples) We spent about 45 minutes here. Great for families with children or without.

While walking around downtown Kelowna we happened to stop at this museum -- and are glad we did. Although this museum is relatively small, the exhibits depicting the history of the region and Kelowna were very well done and interesting. Upon our arrival on Wednesday morning, 3 August, we were warmly greeted by a lady at the front desk who told us a little about the museum and plans to expand and make the exhibits even better. In short, this museum is well worth visiting.

If you love wine this is your place. They have wines from all over the Okanagan. So if you have been to a winery and don't feel like doing the drive simply stop by and buy it here. They offer free tasting now and then too so take advantage if they do offer it. They have a tiny museum at the back which adds to the class of the store. Staff are super friendly too and knowledgeable on every wine. A must see!!!
