“2025 Update: Bring The Noise Music Academy offers fun, community-driven music lessons for students of all ages. They offer both unparalleled group and private lessons. Their instructors offer band mentorship and songwriting classes. Performance concerts, workshops and summer programmes are available for all their students. They welcome students aged 7 and up. Their lessons are 45 minutes long and take place once a week for four consecutive weeks. The school also offers private trial sessions that may be offered depending on availability.”

I purchased a Taylor guitar, as a beginner I wanted a decent guitar that I could use as I progress to intermediate. The staff were excellent in helping me narrow down my choices; as a lefty I was limited but still some good choices. I ended up buying it from an out of province dealer as Wentworth weren’t expecting stock for 6 months due to the supply chain issues. After my first year I took it into them for a tuneup and new strings; Peter and the service staff were more than helpful. When I got it back it sounded better than new. They were very courteous, professional and did not make any judgement on where I purchased the guitar. Great service!

Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. Especially the guitar repair staff. They helped me diagnose my problem and made some tweaks and suggestions for free. Fantastic service, would highly recommend these guys!! Support local!

The staff at Wentworth were super helpful and friendly. Repaired my guitar and it sounds amazing! The final bill was less than expected. Will definitely use them again!

Without question, this has been the most amazing experience for our boy!! Zac and Taylor are incredible teachers and people. They bring out the best in their students and the growth of not just our son but in all the kids that we see at BTN is amazing. The recital at the end of the year is a culmination of everyone’s work and dedication. A true sense of community starts and grows at BTN.

Our students did four classes with Bring the Noise this spring. It was such a great introduction to musical instruments that inspired so many of the students. Zac and his team worked with our teachers to make sure the students got valuable musical skills while having a blast.

BTN is amazing. Zac is tireless, and his energy is contagious. My son has been taking drum lessons for about two years and has improved a lot. I highly recommend it.

UPBEAT MUSIC ACADEMY KELOWNA REVIEWS

I can't say enough good things about guitar lessons with Noel Wentworth. As an older adult, who's been playing a while, but who can get overwhelmed with too much information in lessons, Noel puts just enough information into his lessons as to not overload you with it and still makes it fun to learn. Noel teaches those things that are relevant to the kind of music you want to play and lessons sail quickly by. I'm so happy to have found Noel, Lora, and Upbeat Academy. It's a great place to learn guitar and music and they are wonderful people! Upbeat is a gem to have in Kelowna and for anyone wanting to learn or wanting to enhance their playing.

Upbeat Music Academy is wonderful. Noel Wentworth has been giving me guitar lessons and I am enjoying them very much. He makes them fun and interesting and tailors the guitar lessons to my interests and goals. If you're looking for a great teacher, go Noel at Upbeat Music Academy. You'll enjoy it and learn so much.

A great music school with great owners. Lora has taught our son piano for a number of years now. She is an experienced teacher who knows how to motivate her students with her positive energy.
