“City Park has a long sandy beach, lawn bowling, children's waterpark, aqua park, picnic area, playground, skateboard park, running track, and mobile and static concession stands. The park is an excellent location for a birthday party, an elegant reception, a community festival, and a company conference. City Park has a fitness station and an outdoor kids' activity area. This park also includes lots of green grass and large trees to provide you with a nice place to sit and enjoy the beautiful lakefront City. The park has features like wheelchair access, change rooms and washroom facilities.

2025 Update: The area provides an engaging environment for dogs and their owners, featuring agility elements like tunnels, beams, and poles.”

“Knox Mountain Park is a highly recommended and peaceful place for hiking. For walking and bicycling, both hikes are awesome. This park has a beautiful mountain with amazing scenic beauty, surrounded by water and trees. This is the best place to get lost in nature and find yourself. The park has many water activities in the lake, and the view from the top of the hike is just fabulous. Knox Mountain Park definitely gives a great workout with spectacular views. At this park, a small parking area is available at the base of the mountain by the tennis court. All their staff are friendly manner. Knox Mountain Park spans 385 hectares and is located just north of downtown. Additional parking is available on the western side of the base of Knox Mountain.

“Waterfront Park has green expanses, swimming, panoramic views, and cascading falls. This place is equipped with washroom facilities and a concession stand. The park has a broad boardwalk, beautifully landscaped gardens, and public art. Waterfront Park has sandy beaches, easy access to restaurants, paddle boat rentals and boat launches. This park has facilities like a boardwalk and a playground. Waterfront Park also has a new recreational space. This is a wonderful place to walk, bike ride, or even do water sports. The park has lots of paid parking, and rental bikes are available.”

CITY PARK REVIEWS

One word simply suits best - Spectacular!!! Beautiful landscape with walking paths beside the lake beach front. Great picnic area with plenty of trees for shade. Lots of playground, separate play area for kids and water pads too. Also sand beach for sun bathing and relaxation. You could also play beach volleyball. Park also has a tennis court. Lots of benches to sit along the walking area incase you get tired or if you just wanna enjoy the view. Lovely view of the marina too. You can walk, ride bicycle, scooter along the path, there's place for everyone. The park also has a public piano. It is one happening and happy place to be at. Highly recommended.

What a fun filled day for the family, reasonably priced, very similar to Splash FX which is what I've been to in my home province although this is a much smaller scale. There are washrooms in the park along with food trucks, and lots of places for a picnic.

Loved it! Such a lovely place close to the shopping area with lots of things to do. There are washrooms available which were nice and clean and lots of space to relax. Also, a really clean beach and park area as well.

KNOX MOUNTAIN PARK REVIEWS

Peaceful place for hiking. Walking and Bicycle both Hike are awesome. The view from the top of the mountain is just eye pleasing. It's worth climbing after reaching the till the peak. If take apex trail and then follow the ogopogo trail that's breathtaking experience. There are also washrooms in middle of trails and dustbins are available in same way.

Wonderful panoramic views! There are two points scenic points for pictures, the first one (below) it's easy to arrive but the second one (up) needs a hike of 30 minutes or bike cause the road for cars is closed. Our hike to the second point of view was really tired since that day was very hot (32 degrees) but worth it because the photos are incredible.

A complete view of the city, good sitting arrangements , enough parking spots. Good for a hangout in the evening and of course a must stop for tourists.

WATERFRONT PARK REVIEWS

This is a really beautiful place, like a portrait. The roads and walkways are designed beautifully that you can enjoy the nature flawlessly. You can do lots of activities, like walking, biking, boating, etc. Swimming is not allowed in this area, I believe. You will be amazed after visiting this site. Parking is paid and sometimes hard to find a suitable spot.

Really beautiful place to hang out. Especially in the warm evenings after dinner. Every time we are out there the waterfront park area is a visit. Really clean, really friendly and just a wonderful place. Highly recommend the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect place to walk and ponder. Lovely views. Made me want to move to Kelowna.
