The Birch Center

My son is on the spectrum. 4yrs old. I met with The Birch Center early 2022. Was having difficulties with behavior, following instructions and sitting to get through anything. Kamal, Sheena & Debbie were clear in outlining goals and pointing out areas we were to focus on, also made me aware of observations and sensitive areas. An instant rapport between my son and the therapists was made. I have seen tremendous improvement. Gabe is able to sit through activities and transition into another, he has now started to wave hello and bye, he understands his behavior comes with rewards and consequences. Joint play is amazing. I hated leaving this center, it was merely a distance issue and we were given a space at a location closer. Seeing the emotions of the therapists on the last day only solidified we were in a good and safe place. Ill be keeping contact with them as they are a great resouce for other services. Highly reccommend Kamal and the team.
