3 Best Pet Grooming in Kitchener, ON

I’ve been bringing my Chihuahua mix to Lucar for almost 5 years now and we go every few weeks for nails and then baths when she needs them. I have always had a great experience and Carlos, who is usually the person I interact with most, is incredibly kind, professional, and very loving towards my dog. She’s a rescue and can be standoffish but she does very well at Lucar! Highly recommend.

Today was our first visit to Lucar. Carlos provided a very warm and friendly welcome. I appreciate that he took time to ask in detail how I wanted my dog’s hair cut. My dog was anxious being left behind but I felt like he was in good hands. I’m very happy with how things turned out. Lucia did a lovely and thorough job. Thank you. I like the convenient online booking option also.

We took our GSD and were thrilled with the warm welcome, efficient service and how beautiful our girl looked after her visit. We’ll be back in the spring and will be recommending this wonderful spot to friends. Thanks to Lucar for taking such good care of our anxious fluff ball!

My daughter took her American Rottweiler, Nova, here after she had previosly had her to another groomer that had cut the quick and made her bleed so bad she didn't trust the clippers. Gage was so patient with Nova and took her time to make Nova comfortable. She used the nail grinder and did such a great job even after the last groomer told us that Nova was too old to try the nail grinder. It actually was perfect for Nova because her nails are black and Gage could grind off as much as needed while taking her time. No muzzle required either. Yes, the clinic is small and only the owners can be inside the main doors. I guess that keeps the cost down for the client. It was great having friendly dogs on the floor walking about as well since they were a great distraction to Nova since she is very social herself. We highly recommend giving them a try if your pup is anxious and squirmy during their nail clipping. We will definitely only take Nova here now and use Gage's amazing skills.

We started bringing Teddy here right from puppy stage and he's been happy to go ever since! Trixie is great at communicating with owners beforehand and offers great grooming suggestions and insight. Even though we've moved we still make the drive because we know Teddy will be treated well and come out looking great.

Doggie spa day! She goes in looking one way and comes out looking like an entirely different dog! She is loved by the staff. Spot is becoming very popular so book ahead! Though in a pinch nails can be trimmed on a same day.
