The Chartwell staff at the Bankside Dr location hosted one of their best events. A Valentine lunch required 2 settings. The excellent array of food on each plate included pancakes impeded with chocolate chips, scrammed eggs, sizzeling bacon grilled potatoe wedges, delicious pork sausage covered with a strawberry sauce. We downed several servings of champagne. After enjoying the meal we visited the dessert table highlighting a flowing well of chocolate. Strawberries and marshmallows with other favourites were covered using the chocolate “falls” to embrace each. A five star rating is well deserved for the Management staff the managers for a Five star presentation. One of the most enjoyable experiences we have had Celebrating Valentine’s Day. We had the wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with the residence at Chartwell Bankside Retirement Residence during their health fair. The staff work hard to engage with the residence and provide great service and amenities. The environment is welcoming and well kept. We love visiting the home to educate and assist the hard of hearing.

We cannot express our appreciation and support to all the staff at Chartwell’s Bankside Retirement Residence not only for my Mom but us as well. Honestly it was one of the hardest decision we had to make but the best thing for her, which is all that matters. The staff are “angels on this earth” and Bankside has the best!

I'm delighted to share my outstanding experience working at Lanark for the past three months. Lanark has proven to be an exceptional workplace in every aspect. The care of both my parents at Lanark has been exceptional from ALL staff at Lanark Village. My experience with them is they focus on quality, compassionate care and they do it at a high level. This has been a difficult ordeal for my mother and I. She was in the home but based on the circumstances of our life, her living with my father, and being in a shared room, the matter so complex and Lanark attended to and respected the most difficult situations. Lanark was incredible in sorting out the various care required for both my parents and sensitive to what i am sure is a not so common situation. They somehow managed my father and kept the matters pertaining to care moving. I would very much recommend Lanark Village.
