"Joe Box earned a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2008. He achieves the best outcomes with treatment focused on education and exercise, often combined with manual therapy and dry needling techniques such as IMS and acupuncture. Joe has over 30 years of experience as an outrigger and dragon boat paddler and specializes in treating shoulder and back injuries. He also holds additional certifications in dry needling, including Gunn IMS via UBC, dry needling through the US-based Dry Needling Institute, and acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (AFCI). Bryn was recommended to me by my old physio in Vancouver, and he helped me get back to running pain-free. He's super personable, reassuring, and patient, took my concerns seriously, and never made me feel dumb or bad when I had trouble explaining my symptoms or was worried about my progress. The front staff are also really pleasant and made scheduling and payment a breeze. I highly recommend this clinic!.

Clean, professional and friendly. I am always at ease discussing my health and needs. I was unable to maintain “normal” life activities without pain. IMS and Massage changed that. I am able to work hard and play for fun, couldn’t do without. Thanks Bryn and the clinic staff for keeping me moving.

I have attended physiotherapy sessions with Joe for both my elbow (tendonitis) and a knee injury I suffered playing soccer. I appreciated his approach of using both acupuncture alongside other therapeutic methods for my elbow – I felt the combination was definitely of benefit to a speedier recovery. He was always clear about the intention of the treatment, was very helpful with information around the injuries (causes thereof and how long it may take to heal, other research) and always made sure I was doing the exercises right as well as determining what would be helpful or not. I found him knowledgeable, approachable and always took the time needed for each appointment.

I was very pleased to get an appointment quickly and very happy with the results after my treatments. Joe fixed me up just great! I’ll recommend Pinpoint Physio to anyone needing this service and if I ever need future treatments, I’ll definitely return. Thank you.

Thank you Kyla for giving me the exercises to heal and strengthen my knee after replacement surgery. You were kind, firm and encouraging. Your exercises were designed to increase mobility with as little pain as possible. 7 months after surgery I was in Mexico, the elevator was out regularly, I had to walk up 6 flights of stairs (24 stairs per flight) to our floor with no pain. No problems, the exercises worked wonders! Leslie, thank you for making my bike time enjoyable and appointment scheduling a breeze. Nichole, thank you for encouraging me to use the gym to continue to improve my total body mobility. Everyone at Long Lake Clinic was encouraging and kind.

I had a left total knee arthroplasty and did my rehab here. I felt challenged and actually did some “things” I might never have had the courage to try. Appointment times were convenient and my therapists were on time and pleasant. This was my second total knee with the first one being rehabbed at the hospital. Very different experiences but both excellent. The private clinic really pushed me beyond the exercise booklet but the end results were very similar.

I appreciated the attentive and experienced guidance through a broken ankle rehab. Both Kayla and Nicole provided challenges as I worked on mobility and strength building. Thankyou for a good return to better health.
