3 Best Bike Shops in Hamilton, ON

Fantastic service and really knowledgable. I love that this is an independent store where they really care about the bike and the rider. They don’t try and upsell you and give honest and impartial advice. I had a horrible situation when Air Transat nearly destroyed my beautiful custom made British bicycle flying from the UK to Canada, and they fixed my bike and threw in some minor tweaks to get her up and running like new. The whole team were patient and super knowledgeable, making sure I was kept in the loop every step of the way. I was able to wait whilst Will and the team got to work. Really grateful and will always come here for any bike related issues everytime I’m in Canada, 10 out of 10 across the board!

I really appreciate the staff at Bike Hounds. They are very kind, honest, and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed when speaking with any of them and it's obvious they care about ensuring I have the best possible experience with my bike. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Big thanks to the crew at Downtown Bike Hounds for making an emergency repair to my rim on our bike trip from Toronto to Niagara. Great service and an awesome price!

Had trouble with my B tension spring. Called 8 of the closest repair shops. Downtown Bike Hounds were the only ones knew anything above "just throw parts at it" MAINTENANCE. I needed a part, which I already knew, but nobody else could even understand my, B-tension screw operation, question to recommend what I wanted. Just bought a new bike and needed minor adjustments after a few hours of riding. Staff were fast friendly and went beyond expectations to make sure I was satisfied. While my bike was being adjusted, I noticed other customers with wide-ranging issues were promptly dealt with and offered solution options that would meet their needs. I love the team atmosphere and willingness to solve problems with the best interest of customer satisfaction in mind. Also love that I saved on accessories when purchasing a new bike. Great store, wealth of experience. Doesn't get any better!

We have bought 2 beautiful electrified bikes from Miles at Freewheel and always felt well taken care of with good humour, honesty and good information. We we're never rushed into a decision and pressured to buy more than we needed. As the feminine part of our couple, I never felt ignored or spoken down too. Ladies you know what I'm talking about!
