This restaurant was incredible. We went a bit earlier in the morning to get a decent parking and ended up being one of three groups in the restaurant, the staff was incredibly attentive. I ordered the French toast with fruit and whipped cream and it was delicious, nice and warm, with hints of cinnamon. My partner ordered the black stone eggs Benedict and the eggs were perfectly poached with the most incredible hollandaise sauce. She loved the tomato that was on the English muffins, it added a whole other dimension of flavour. The coffee was delicious along with our mimosa and freshly made lemonade (a bit tart but overall tasted like a great cup of lemonade). We got lucky with the timing because literally every other single time

Great experience. Fresh food, locally prepared and farmed. Prices can be a bit high, but you're paying for quality of food, service, and experience. The options are excellent and unique. If you're not sure, just walk by and smell the fried bacon, it was quite convincing for me! The only negative is that the space is a bit small, and due to its popularity it gets packed quicky. So, well worth the wait.

Absolutely cute breakfast place in central Ottawa with lovely service, great poached eggs and good coffee. Highly recommend. Cave to fellow travellers: no foreign debit cards work here, in that case cash only.
