“Dr. Teresa Tsang is an experienced cardiologist in Vancouver, BC. She is the Director of Echocardiography at Vancouver General Hospital and UBC Hospital, Professor of Medicine, and Associate Head of Research for the Department of Medicine. She completed her medical degree, internal medicine, and cardiology fellowships at the University of Alberta. Dr. Teresa Tsang completed her fellowship in Echocardiography at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She was subsequently offered a staff position in Cardiology at the Mayo Clinic, where she worked for more than ten years as a clinician and researcher. Her research program is principally focused on physiologic and pathophysiologic aging of the cardiovascular system. Her long-term goal is to improve her ability to predict the future development of age-related cardiovascular problems. Dr. Teresa Tsang has a special interest in atrial fibrillation, heart failure, stroke, and cognitive dysfunction.”
