“Dr. Andrea Veljkovic completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Alberta and her Orthopaedic Residency at QE II Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Andrea Veljkovic completed her Postgraduate Fellowship Training in Arthroscopy and Athletic Injuries (Knee and Shoulder) at the University of British Columbia in 2010. She is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of British Columbia and has been in full-time academic subspecialty surgical practice for over ten years. She specializes in sports-related orthopedic surgery for the knee, foot, and ankle. Dr. Andrea Veljkovic has received numerous teaching and education awards, including the UBC Teaching Award. She has published over 60 scientific papers and has lectured extensively. Recently, her research was nominated as a finalist for the AOFAS Leonard Goldner and Roger Mann Awards.
