“Dr. Manraj Heran is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Medicine. He is the director of the Division of Neuroradiology at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH). He is the Fellowship Director for the Diagnostic Neuroradiology Fellowship Program at VGH and is a staff pediatric interventional radiologist at BC Children’s Hospital. His areas of interest include the diagnosis and management of vascular malformations, interventional neuroradiology (acute stroke and other ischemic cerebrovascular disease), and orbital radiology. He is also a co-investigator in a number of trials evaluating interventions for acute ischemic stroke. Dr. Manraj Heran practices at Vancouver General Hospital and BC Children’s Hospital.

2025 Update: He has participated in and led a number of funded and unfunded research projects throughout his career. Dr. Manraj Heran won the prestigious “Young Investigator’s Award” from the Canadian Association of Radiology, and has also been elected to the Board of Directors for the Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology.”

DR. MANRAJ HERAN - VANCOUVER GENERAL HOSPITAL REVIEWS

A good friend of mine told me about how great of a Dr as well as a person Dr Heran is and after meeting and dealing with him, it seems like an understatement. My mother and father have been living in pain for years now and I've been trying to get them whatever help I can and was so happy to get them referrals for Dr Heran. It only took about 5 minutes into the consultation for my parents that made me so impressed with his professionalism as well as the way he genuinely cares. It felt like I was being treated with special vip type treatment and it wasn't until returning on separate occasions with my parents for treatments when I got to witness him dealing with other patients as well as other staff and realized I wasn't being treated with any special treatment cause he deals with everyone in the same manner. Extremely special and rare in my honest opinion. As for my parents, it's an ongoing process that will hopefully continue to help them deal with their pains. We're all just so happy to be in the caring hands of Dr Heran.

Dr.Heran is absolutely a phenomenal doctor and a gem of a human being. He is compassionate, kind and very knowledgeable. As a nurse and as his patient, I can say that physicians like Dr.Heran are a rare breed. I am so grateful to be under his care. I highly recommend this amazing physician.

Dr. Manraj Heran is an amazing Dr. His level of expertise and his personal manner are exemplary. I was so happy with my experience with Dr. Heran in May . It was the best medical encounter I have ever had.

I had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Attariwala, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the clinic, I felt welcomed and at ease by the friendly staff and soothing ambiance. Dr. Attariwala himself embodies the true essence of a compassionate and skilled medical professional. I recommend everyone to see Dr. Attariwala.

First and foremost, Dr. Attariwala's medical knowledge and skills are unparalleled. He is clearly up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field, and his ability to diagnose and treat complex medical conditions is truly remarkable. I felt confident that I was in capable hands throughout my entire treatment process.

Wow, this doctor made our day. Despite being super busy and having no obligation to helps us. He stepped in when there were some issues with my requisition at St. Paul's hospital. When others were willing to brush me off, him (and his team) stepped in and saved the day. He showed so much respect, caring and compassion, was hilarious, and is clearly very knowledgeable. So thankful for people like you.

I had an ultrasound guided contrast dye injected into my shoulder for a CT. Dr. Cresswell is hilarious and very knowledgeable. He was teaching other MSK doctors on his techniques and everyone seemed to be having a good time, myself included. His gentle approach and humor made the procedure go by quickly and painlessly. I felt very fortunate to have had him today. Job well done.

Dr Mark Cresswell came in to consult on my procedure and he was fantastic!!!! What a wonderful doctor. Kind, engaging and best of all so very knowledgable! 5 stars arent enough.
