“Dr. Amin Javer earned his medical degree, graduating in 1991, and finished his one-year internship at the University of Saskatchewan at the Regina General Hospital. He did his additional four-year otolaryngology (one year of research) and one year of core general surgery training to earn his specialist credentials. Dr. Amin specializes in performing skull base surgeries, and he has different research interests with over 90 research publications and over 10 book chapters. Dr. Amin has a unique interest in doing advanced FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery), Frontal Sinus Surgery, and Fungal Sinus Disease. He has also been awarded several awards and honours in research and surgical teaching during his UBC career. Dr. Amin Javer has presented his publications internationally. Dr. Amin Javer is the director of St. Paul’s Sinus Centre, which is one of the leading ENT centers in Vancouver. He speaks English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Swahili (Kiswahili).

He is the Presenter/Invited Speaker of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology, American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, American Rhinologic Society, and Asia Pacific Congress of Endoscopic Surgery.”
