I had a craniotomy to remove a meningioma and it's a relief that it went so well! I was unsure beforehand but Dr. Heran shared the scans of my inflamed and swollen brain which helped me decide. He had to go under the frontal lobe so suggested using one of my eyebrow wrinkles to enter through my forehead. Today, 4 weeks later, the scar already looks quite good. The incision is barely an inch long and I have no other side effects other than some numbness on top of my head from nerve endings that will grow back. I'm so glad I didn't get the long incision along the hair line which is usually used for this type of meningioma. I understand there are more side effects with that. I feel very well and am ready to start back at work tomorrow.

in late november Dr Gooderham saved my fathers life and made his life better, my father was emitted into the hospital for an horrible migraine that was getting worse by the second where an MRI scan was issued and they found out he had an large brain tumour. he was urgently airlifted to the Vancouver hospital from Penticton for the brain tumour being the size of a small melon. Dr Gooderham immediately went into surgery with him and removed the tumour. my dads now 100% more happy and feels way better and bright/lively now that the tumours gone. without Dr Gooderham he probably wouldn't be here right now, we are all so thankful for Dr. Gooderham.

Dr.Gooderham saved my life. It was by fluke that he found an AVM (brain arteriovenous malformation) in my head from a previous CT scan that was done as a precautionary measure because I had broken my femur.
