“Dance With Me Toronto's mission is to teach dance figures and footwork, introduce students to the beautiful world of dance, and ensure that they enjoy every step of the journey. “A.B. Dance offers both recreational and competitive programs. Andrea and Ashley Barnes are the founders of the dance studio. A.B. Dance offers classes for all ages and abilities, from ages two and up. The dance school, spread over an 8,000 sq. ft. facility, has six dance studios with sprung floors and a state-of-the-art audio system. A.B. Dance's facilities also include multiple change areas for dancers and a spacious parents' lounge with TV, fireplace and Wifi. The academy provides an opportunity to perform a CH morning live television show and participate in many local community events, including the Markham Fair, the Unionville Festival and the Old Tyme Christmas Parade. They conduct a spectacular year-end recital at the Markham Theatre.

2025 Update: Andrea and Ashley have won top awards in choreography at both American and Canadian Dance competitions. They have been serving the community for over 31 years. They also provide the facilities for viewing windows in all studios, a coffee machine and a kitchen area.”

A friend who's a professional dancer recommended Egor to us when we mentioned we needed a great instructor for our wedding dance choreography. Initially, we were a little nervous, but Egor's humour, energy, and patience made every lesson an enjoyable one. Thanks to him, our wedding dance was absolutely unforgettable! Egor is respected in the Toronto dance community, so we felt confident that we were learning from the right instructor. His teaching style is friendly and straightforward, making it easy for beginners like us to learn. We were so impressed by his choreography and teaching that we later joined his weekly group lessons for Latin dance, where we not only improved our skills but also made new friends and connected with other dance enthusiasts. We feel incredibly lucky to have Egor as our dance instructor, and we're proud to now call him a friend.

Working with Egor was a blast! He customized our first dance to our song of choice and made learning each step seem so easy and seamless for two people who don’t know how to dance. If you don’t like a certain move, he suggests something else. Egor also knew that our first dance was going to be on the beach, so he worked to ensure our footwork would mimic the potential hindrance of sand! Egor is kind, passionate about his work, and very professional. I would highly recommend working with him! Thank you Egor!

We found Egor by chance and couldn't be happier with our choice. We took wedding first dance classes with him, and he easily choreographed our non-English song. He was professional, knowledgeable, and hardworking. His patience, helpfulness, and passion for dance were evident throughout the lessons, and he taught us very effectively despite our minimal dancing skills. Also, he was always punctual and prepared, ensuring productive lessons. Thanks to Egor, our first dance was a highlight of our wedding day. We highly recommend him for wedding first dance classes!

I love this studio, I've been going here since I was 9 years old in their summer camps. The owner is a great lady, always making sure her students are enjoying themselves. The studio motto is "every 'body' can dance!" which is a great way to encourage everyone to get active and feel confident. The other teachers are great at making sure their students understand the dance moves but most importantly are also having fun. I would recommend this studio to anyone who asks.

My daughter has been dancing here since she was 4. It's been 7 years with the school. We decided to continue dancing at this school due to the friendliness of all the teachers, students and parents. My daughter was very shy at first but the teachers are very patient and positive. Now she enjoys all the classes and this is like a second home to her.

My 8 year old daughter has been going to Markham School of Dance for 3 years now. I've always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. My daughter enjoys her classes and has made quite a few new friends while going as well! The recitals are always lively and colourful and they put on a great show. I would recommend this school to anyone :)
