3 Best Dance Schools in Toronto, ON

This is my first ever on-line review post. I just gotta tell you what a great time I am having with my Dance Life X Beginner Adult Contemporary dance classes with Minuet. I am about to turn 60, and although most students are much younger than I am, I have been made extremely welcome and comfortable and accepted. The dance class is challenging for me to keep up with but is full of fun every minute. I am improving in my balance, my flexibility, and in my aerobic capacity all while doing something entertaining and rewarding. It has become the highlight of my week!

I enjoyed hip hop classes at Dance X. Hip Hop intermediate choreography was excellent. The instructor, Fizz taught the technique and dance moves so well. I was really impressed with his style of teaching. I also attended beginner Heels class with Amanda. I had so much fun dancing in heels as the dance was feminine and creative. Amanda is an amazing teacher!

I recently started taking classes at this dance studio, and it's been such a great experience! The studio itself is super clean, and the staff is incredibly sweet and helpful. I especially love the Bollywood classes with Aryaan Kanji. His dance choreographies are easy to learn, and the classes are always so much fun. Highly recommend!

Went with a group of 8 people yesterday for a bachelorette and we did a heels type class but in sneakers. Can't recommend it enough! Definitely ask for Deidre. She was so accommodating and let us pick the song ahead of time. We did Crazy in Love since it was for a Bach. She was so patient and encouraging and the choreography was so much fun! She even went above and beyond by going over the time to make sure we got a good clip of the whole dance. Thank you Dee for making it such a memorable experience!

It's been my dream to dance and I've felt too shy or intimidated to give it a go in the past. While I haven't visited City Dance Corps in-person yet, I started the virtual modern dance for beginners course tonight. The instructor was super sweet and enthusiastic. It's very obvious she wants to give her students the best experience she can provide. Moreover, all my email and phone correspondence with City Dance have been extremely positive and welcoming. For anyone who is even the slightest bit apprehensive or shy about giving dance a try, I highly recommend this studio. I'm really excited about being a part of it now.

City Dance Core is my new obsession, with its bright, spacious spaces for self expression in so many forms of movement - Latin dance to aerial ballet. All ages, all types are welcomed. The instructors are awesome. Highly recommend trying a drop in class or jumping into a multi week course. Guaranteed fun!
