Denitsa is patient, understanding and full of interesting ways to keep my stubborn child engaged in lessons. There are countless games and activities on offer each lesson, as well as choices for him to make so that he feels he's in control. She is flexible with appointments and during covid restrictions switched to virtual lessons, which were also surprisingly effective. I highly recommend Denitsa for your speech therapy needs...esp if you are near the Junction. There is a bus stop just outside and parking was never a problem. We spent 2 years with her and my child went from unintelligible to a confident, clear speaker.

So thankful to the great team at the Communication Clinic for all their hard work. From referring us to further services available to stepping out in the middle of a busy road to keep my child safe, the therapists and manager of the clinic have gone above and beyond to provide a positive and caring environment for my child. Can't thank them enough.

Denitsa, help our son a lot :) she's very nice. It's been 3 years since my son started his therapy - so much improvement and we're very happy. The staff are great.. :) Winnie (OT) also helping my son :) We very thankful!.

MISS BEHNAZ'S OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY FOR KIDS REVIEWS

Behnaz has provided my wife and I easy-to-implement tools to help our sensitive child regulate her emotions, and to be honest, this helps us regulate our emotions. She would also bring resources to sessions that we could keep (rather that giving us the extra step of printing them off) - this was very helpful. She also one time brought some headbands for our child as part of the treatment, and we offered to pay for those. She has a home office on the lower east side and made two house calls to observe our routines. Highly recommend.

This summer I had the pleasure of assisting Behnaz as a student volunteer. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable in her expertise but has so much love for the children she works with. I always admire how adaptable and patient she is when providing therapy. She allows children to be who they are and feel comfortable via play, creativity and conversation! Working with Behnaz helped me understand how valuable OT is in today’s society and I am certain her clients can attest to that. Highly recommend working with her!.

We very recently decided to consult an OT for our daughter to help with some concerns about emotional regulation and a few other concerns and found Zoe through the glowing reviews on google. I messaged on a Sunday via the website and was surprised that Erika responded right away via text message. We decided to take a leap of faith and we are so glad we did. Our daughter immediately developed rapport with Zoe because she is so warm and caring. She thoroughly enjoys her sessions with Zoe and looks forward to them. It’s honestly been profound that we have already noticed differences in her after only 2 sessions. The clinic is far for us and we have to make stone during the weekday to attend but it was very well worth it. I highly recommend Zoe and Erika’s services if you have similar concerns.

Erika and her kind and thoughtful team (we worked with Caroline) are incredible. If you’re looking for really comprehensive and supportive help you can be assured your child is in good hands. My son made significant improvements over the course of the past couple months with their support. Im very grateful!.
