The section of the York Regional Forest where I went is spacious. The main trails are wide, embraced by tall trees. There are few people walking, at least when I went. It felt good being there surrounded by such a beautiful nature.
There are only about 10kms of trails here, but they are beautiful. The trails are wide and perfectly smooth without too many elevation changes so they would be easily walkable even with a stroller. Parking may be a challenge especially during peak season.
So much fun, come with kids to find most common fungus/mushroom in North America, suprisly we could find more than 12 types of fungus/mushroom within 45mins, and maple leaves looks nice in this weather!
