DUNDURN CASTLE REVIEWS
I visited here yesterday, I haven't been here since I was a kid in school. The tour I went on was great, the young woman guiding the tour was very informative, and answered everyone's questions. All the rooms were very nice, and displayed like they were frozen in time. I learned alot of new things about the history of the Castle, and the family associated with it. All the staff here were very friendly, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend going here to learn some hamilton history, and it's a great tour.
Awesome place to visit in both summer and winter. There are multiple hour long tours running all day. The house is beautiful, full of history and when you get to the servant quarters they give you a small treat to have (short bread). Lovely gardens and a military museum which is great for children to have fun in their discovery room. The gift shop is excellent with local goods for all types of people.
Nice spot for history. Love the historical buildings, castles, and waterfront. Excellent spot for photos and even just walk around.

I had my wedding here this past weekend, it was absolutely amazing! The venue turned out beautifully, and the staff were all so helpful when we needed assistance/questions. Very cool spot to take the family too!
Absolutely Beautiful. We were there for a wedding with our bar Stocious. Can't wait to come back to do the tour. All the staff I met so far were extremely kind and knowledgeable.
Lovely tour and tour guide. They keep everything in working order and can turn the original pumps with an electric engine. Very neat to see.

WHITEHERN HISTORIC HOUSE & GARDEN REVIEWS
This house is beyond beautiful with an interesting family history. A very unique home and, although it’s smaller than Dundurn Castle, the home actually has more to offer in beauty and in engaging stories. So happy I made a trip down to see it. The tour guide was so accommodating and friendly, with a thorough knowledge of the house.
The history behind this house was very interesting. Not much is curated as everything you see, personal affects, furnishings, and draperies were all donated by the McQuesten family.
Wonderful tour today at this house. Our guide was great and knowledgeable and the history of the family was fascinating. A must visit for anyone who loves a genuine heritage home.
