“Ian Robertson received his Master of Social Work from McMaster University, Hamilton. He also completed his Bachelor of Social Work at Niagara University, Niagara Falls. He earned his Certificate in Advanced Clinical Supervision at Smith College of Social Work. Ian Robertson has a special interest in treating adult and children’s mental health, trauma, and concurrent disorders. He works with families, couples, and individuals. His training includes solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, brainspotting, Polyvagal, structural dissociative theory, eye movement desensitization reprocessing, and EFT. He practices at Ian Robertson Therapy Group. The centre offers advanced-level trauma therapies. Ian is also an organizational consultant and staff development trainer on trauma-informed practices and integration and trauma-informed leadership.
