"Kamikaze Punishment Foundation is a family-friendly martial arts training facility offering uncompromising, high-quality amateur combative sports programs to the community at a reasonable rate. They use information, education, positive relationships, leadership, and accredited instruction to promote youth combat sports. Kamikaze Punishment Foundation aims to empower youth and teach them how to tackle any situation they may face. The goal of creating the Kamikaze Punishment Foundation is to provide quality amateur combative sports programs available to the children and youth in the community. They have evolved through the years with the demand from parents who want to train as their children are training. Free trials and facility tours are by appointment only. Gasper Bonomo is the Head Striking Specialist Instructor of the Kamikaze Punishment Foundation. All of their trainers are NCCP certified. Affordable memberships and family discounts are available.

2026 Highlights: The facility includes a dedicated heavy bag area, traditional boxing ring, and a regulation Octagon MMA cage. As a community-run non-profit supported by volunteers, membership fees help maintain quality equipment while funding youth athlete programs."

"Kingdom Mixed Martial Arts has a 5,500 sq. ft. facility that is fully equipped for an excellent training experience. Members can use their matted training rooms, heavy bags, striking pads, boxing ring, and weight room. Four changing stalls and a small store with clothing and training equipment are available. The facility is disinfected twice daily, maintaining a spotless and hygienic training environment. Moreover, there is an experienced trainer for all martial arts programs. There are no Registration or sign-up fees. Memberships are month-to-month with no long-term contract. They offer a 3-day free trial class.

2026 Highlights: Prospective members can use on-site training gear for striking and grappling trials, including gloves, shin guards, plus gis."

Amazing space with separate heavy bag area, boxing ring, mat and Octagon MMA cage. Lots of different styles of fighting taught. Supportive, family atmosphere for myself and my 2 teens.

If you want to get proper MMA/Boxing/Kickboxing/BJJ training, this place would be it. Come spar me any day.

Great gym with even better coaches. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to learn and get into a martial arts (Boxing ,kickboxing , MMA , BJJ).

KINGDOM MIXED MARTIAL ARTS REVIEWS

I've been hitting this gym since September 2023, and it's been a game-changer for my fitness and striking/grappling skills. It's easily one of the best MMA spots in Alberta, whether you're aiming to compete or just starting out. The people training here are super friendly, the coaches really know their stuff, and the vibe is just awesome overall. Come try it.

Super clean gym and high quality grappling mats. Most guys there seem more focused on kickboxing than grappling, however it is a great place for grappling and wall fighting, and the main BJJ coach Julian has an insane pressure passing game. There is no ring, but a nice open space for bag/padwork, and a square cage. Limited opening hours, with very few open mat/open training slots on their schedule. The training sessions are short, but tightly ran and at a nice intensity. The new location is huge and has more mat space than anywhere else.

I've trained at Kingdom several times and I've made it my go to stop whenever I'm in Edmonton. Coach Craig is an excellent instructor and an incredible athlete. The facility is humongous and has dedicated kickboxing, grappling, and weight training areas. The students are all very chill and welcoming. I couldn't ask for more.

This place is amazing. Great professors and coaches. They are very welcoming to newcomers and great with children and youth. Highly recommend this Academy for Jiu-jitsu. The life skills that are gained from this type of training are endless and very noticeable after attending for under one month. Talk to Tim about getting started!.

I'm an out-of-towner that dropped in for an open mat. The people were very friendly, and everyone I rolled with was respectful and skilled. The facility was clean and hygienic, had a large space for rolling, and had change rooms and showers. I very much recommend this gym.

Great community. Everyone was very welcoming. The place is very clean which is always a huge plus. And the instructors are skilled and knowledgeable. I would recommend to anyone either looking for a new gym to train BJJ or just visiting town like I was.
