Dr. Andrew House completed his medical degree at the University of Ottawa. He is also a professor in the Department of Medicine at Schulich Medicine. Dr. Andrew House completed his training in Physiology and Pharmacology at Western University before pursuing his MD and specialist training at the University of Ottawa. He also completed a Master's in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Western University. As a trained clinical epidemiologist and nephrologist, he designs and analyzes clinical trials in acute kidney injury (AKI), chronic kidney disease (CKD), hemodialysis, and transplantation.

2025 Update: He served as Chief of Nephrology at London Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Andrew House has an interest in continuous renal replacement therapies, homocysteine metabolism, and cardiorenal syndromes. He leads a multidisciplinary program for adults with tuberous sclerosis complex. Dr. Andrew House is a part of the Canadian Tuberous Sclerosis cohort study. He is an invited lecturer at national and international meetings, and is an award-winning teacher of Renal Physiology to medical students.
