“Dr. Randi-Jo Francis earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Waterloo. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in Chicago, Illinois, graduating with honours and serving as the Gold Key Honors Society president. Dr. Francis received numerous awards for her contributions to ICO, the community, and the field of optometry. She completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care in Chicago after graduation. During her time at ICO, Dr. Francis completed externships in Florida and Michigan, focusing on ocular disease, primary care, and contact lenses. She also completed rotations at ICO, focusing on specialty contact lenses and pediatric optometry. She is committed to continuing education and has earned the distinction of FAAO (Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry). Dr. Francis enjoys working with patients of all ages and is passionate about optometry. Her particular interests include ocular disease management, dry eye treatment, contact lenses, and myopia control. She is currently practicing at Central Optometry. They are committed to providing friendly, professional eye care to every patient using state-of-the-art technology to diagnose, examine, and preserve ocular and visual health.”
