We found him highly observant and he asked questions and listened. He spoke directly to our 11 year old and treated him like a person, not a child. We talked about extreme damand avoidance and he didn't dismiss our concerns, treat the symptoms as "just anxiety" or question whether our child is autistic, as we've had other professionals do. Very non-judgemental, understanding and willing to understand and accommodate our child's needs.

Dr. Gorodzinsky is a very caring, attentive dr. He was the first step in a very vital process for our daughter and continues to support us everytime we ask. Would highly recommend, especially in situations where parents and children are unsure.

We started seeing Dr. G when my daughter started Grade 6. My daughter was misdiagnosed as being Mildly intellectually delayed and ADD. The psychologist (who was the Board’s Psychologist- which we paid for was horrible). Dr. G met with Megan and assessed her and said she was not delayed but she was sitting in a classroom absorbing nothing. She has severe ADD. Dr. G always made Megan feel special and smart. He was her biggest advocate - writing letters to the school, her GP, helping with her IEP, giving us a plan for our daughter. With medication, tutors, strategies and a lot of hard work on our daughter’s part he encouraged her to do her best. He had her reassessed by another psychologist in London who was amazing and he had her blinded - meaning the psychologist could not see any of her original results. As suspected she was not delayed at all but did have severe ADD that impacted on her memory. He made sure her original results disappeared from her school records. Megan has worked very hard and Dr. G was there for her and continue to follow and encourage her and advocate for her up until now. He believed in her. Megan is almost 18 now and was accepted to Queens, Western, McMaster and will be attending Wilfred Laurier. She graduated with Honours and won an award for Perseverance and Resilience. Megan invited Dr. G to her graduation ceremony which was an hour away from his home and he attended. Dr. Gorodzinsky is an amazing physician. He is caring and smart and truly advocates for his patients. He is a huge part of Megan’s success and she was just thrilled he was there for her graduation. He believed in her. I highly recommend Dr. G and we are going to miss him. Thank you Dr. G!!

I want to thank Dr.gorodzinsky for an amazing appointment, I have never felt so cared about and from a perfect stranger. His care for my baby boy and my self went beyond measures and it will forever stick with me. - SH. Reply
