“Dr. Mandar S. Jog earned his medical degree from the Memorial University of Newfoundland Faculty of Medicine. He finished his 4-year post-doctoral fellowship in Computational Neuroscience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, Massachusetts. He is the Director of the National Parkinson Foundation Centre of Excellence in Movement Disorders. Dr. Mandar works with individuals and departments in new and inventive ways to bring expertise to clinical issues with exciting results. He has used sensor technology to examine tremors through mechanics and amplitude and developed an innovative analysis technique to understand limb tremors, with patents pending. Dr. Mandar S. Jog has published over 300 papers and given over 300 national and international presentations. He has solved a complex engineering problem of human dynamics in the upper limb and neck in a unique way.”
