“Dr. Richard Combden grew up in Newfoundland and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He then went to the United States and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Combden is experienced in diagnosing, treating, and managing eye diseases and also takes care of patients before and after refractive eye surgery. He specializes in pre-and post-operative evaluations for refractive and cataract surgeries. Dr. Combden is board-certified to practice in Canada and the United States. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and the College of Optometrists of Ontario. He is currently practicing at Spectrum Eye Care, where the clinic provides thorough eye health examinations and prescriptions for glasses and soft contact lenses. The clinic also offers myopia control and specialty contact lens services, including scleral lenses, and specializes in fitting contact lenses and performing comprehensive vision health exams.”
