“Dr. Ivan Wong completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at McMaster University after earning his medical degree from Dalhousie University. He furthered his expertise with a Sports Medicine and Trauma fellowship at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute in Los Angeles. He is a valued member of the Orthopaedic Surgery Team at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Nova Scotia and serves as a Professor at Dalhousie University. Dr. Wong specializes in hip and shoulder arthroscopy, including advanced techniques like arthroscopic reconstructions of large rotator cuff tears and arthroscopic Latarjet procedures. He is dedicated to minimizing invasiveness in surgeries to reduce discomfort and speed up recovery.
