3 Best Retirement Homes in Brantford, ON

My mother moved to Tranquility Place in April 2023. She has made several friends and really enjoys visiting with them before meals. The meals are very good. We met with Jocelyn first and she has been a wonderful, kind and supportive resource from day one. Mom has adjusted well to Tranquility Place as her new home. We are very pleased with the move to Tranquility from her own home.

We recently moved my mom into Tranquility place and are so happy we did. We met with Lisa first and she made my mom feel so comfortable and couldn't do enough to help us. The staff are just wonderful so caring and helpful. Its nice to know your loved ones are in good hands. Lots of activities to join if they want to. I'm surprised to say the food is excellent. We have joined my mom for lunch or dinner numerous times and have loved the food. We love Tranquility place and are so happy we have our mom there being well looked after by wonderful staff

My family and I moved my dad to Tranquility place while we waited for a long term bed to become available. The entire process of moving in, the incredible stay and the move out has been perfect and seamless. I am eternally grateful for this team that kept my dad safe during this difficult time. I would give Brierwood Gardens 6 stars if I had that option. My 90 year old mother has been a resident since February this year. She and her late husband had been resistant to a move to a retirement home but his declining health and a fall that resulted in a broken wrist for my Mom made the move necessary. From the moment we met Kim, our gracious tour guide and sales consultant, my family had a good feeling about Brierwood Gardens. The entire staff is amazing and doing an exceptional job in keeping their residents safe, comfortable and happy in these difficult times of Covid 19. My Mom says she has top marks for all the staff at Brierwood. She says she is eating and sleeping well and enjoying the recreational activities. The food she says is excellent, and she is a very picky eater. She is very content and happy in her new home. If you are looking for a retirement home for your loved one, I highly recommend Brierwood Gardens. My sister and I are also content in knowing that our Mom is being well looked after there and are grateful to all the staff for the care she is receiving.

As a resident of Brierwood Gardens Retirement Home, I feel qualified to post an opinion. It took me a few weeks to feel comfortable in my new surroundings. However, the exceptional staff soon become your new friends and go over and beyond what is expected of them. The rooms are very comfortable and are kept very clean. The meals are very healthy and the kitchen staff always attempts to satisfy your needs and wants. The grounds are very beautiful and very well groomed, like living in a park. There are always birds and squirrels making their homes here too. The Recreation staff offer a variety of activities, such as Fitness Classes and numerous social events. You can be as busy or as lazy as you want, it is up to you. Also, there is also the spiritual needs of residents. As a Roman Catholic, I very much appreciate the weekly service. I highly recommend Brierwood Gardens.

I think this home is everything a person could wish for. Staff are very kind and caring. Meals are great. You don't have to worry about anything everything is taken care of for you. I am quite happy here this is home.
