Great staff. Very, very helpful. Owner is a genuinely good guy. I normally do all my own repairs, so I was hesitant to take my vehicle in for a check of a couple of problems. Their advice kept my best interests in mind. Hugely appreciated and highly recommended.

I've been taking my work trucks to Auto Check for a handful of years now, and it's a great shop. They're detailed, honest, and the customer service is top notch. I recently had one truck detailed, and a few weeks later I'm still in awe at how awesome it is. Easy 5 stars!

Great auto shop. I've been taking my cars here for years and service advisors have always been helpful and friendly. I needed my brakes changed and they got me in that same day. Decent pricing compared to the dealerships and I can trust they're not trying to oversell me on random stuff. Always have had good experiences here.

I am an elderly woman - and really appreciated the honesty of the Mechanic Stathi and Service Advisor Tyler. Tyler called me after the inspection was complete to let me know what they found, what my vehicle needed and the price. Excellent customer service and I will definitely be taking my vehicle there again for my next service. Thank you! I highly recommend Budget Brake and Muffler.

Very friendly professional service. Had what I thought might be a muffler problem but after assessment they discovered it was a loose clip on my air filter. Mechanic took my car for a test drive,clipped the air filter back and voila problem solved. No charge for their time. I highly recommend this place.

Tyler at Budget was very courteous and friendly and got me an appointment very quickly. The fix of my air con was all done in a couple of hours and a fair price. Thanks so much!

We have had our cars serviced at Midas at Hammond Bay location for many years. Normally we don't write any reviews. The reason we wrote this time because they did some very necessary repairs on our nearly 18 years old car. Special mention to Shelby and his team. You can trust their skills. Thanks again guys.

They were kind, explained what needed to be done now and what could wait a bit. They showed pictures of any issues. I was quoted a price for some work on my car, at a different place, that was 3 times higher than what Midas charged me. I am extremely impressed with their work and ethics.

Had some front end work done here on a vehicle, and they went above and beyond to assure everything was perfect! I was surprised and impressed with how efficient and friendly everyone was. One of the better places in Nanaimo and area to get work done.
