Kathy, Perry & the staff at Snip & Stitch are the absolute best and unbelievably knowledgeable. Not only is there a wide variety of fabric and notions available alongside machines ranging from entry level to 'I need to win the lottery to afford this but please don't mind me drooling over it in the meantime', there is never-ending kindness and expertise as well. They have always greeted me with a smile, chatted about projects, helped me figure out where things were going wrong, fixed my machine when I've pushed it past its limits, been a shoulder to cry on when I've been frustrated.. this shop makes you feel like you're a part of their family. They aren't jus there to sell you things, they want to help you use them and see you enjoy them too. If you need anything sewing related, this is the place to start your search. I cannot recommend this shop enough!

I have always found the staff at snip and stitch truly amazing. They are so friendly and helpful and feel so welcome when I'm in the store. The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and I've learned so much from them. Anyone needing to learn from scratch or just brush up and learn new tips this is the place to go. Thank you all for being like a second family to me.

I so appreciate all the great service, but Rutti (the sewing machine technician) went beyond the call of duty. He came to me for my Babylock Alliance( a stand alone embrodiery machine) on a problem I created. It was back to normal within two days of my mistake. I was in the middle of my last minute embrodiery gifts and figured that was ruined. He made me so smile when it was fixed and recalibered. I looked around my apartment all my equipment is from them. 25 years of great service, great help and creative energy.Tian and your team make it feel like we are part of the Serge and Sew family. Thank you.

I love this store! Pfaff has been my favourite since getting my first one, a Creative 2170, from Serge & Sew back in 2007. This shop has such terrific pricing I was able to upgrade to a new machine and get a back-up to port about when needed for the same price that most places were selling the bigger machine for.

Out of this world customer service. The products are top notch and the store is just full of inspiration. I live in Victoria but gladly travel for this shop.

FABRICLAND NANAIMO REVIEWS

I had a very positive experience yesterday when I visited Fabricland. I can't say it is always pleasant there due to unqualified and unfriendly staff, which is why I was moved to write a positive review today. The lady in the quilting section (whose scissors were marked "Bren") took very good care of me yesterday. She made sure my stretchy fabric lined up properly and that I got the sale as it was marked. Thank you for that!

First time sew-er and went to Fabricland in Nanaimo, received the best customer service from a person named Lianne. She explained so much to me and made my shopping experience whopping! So many bolts of fabric all over the place it's almost overwhelming. Take your time. You'll find a favorite.

Great choice of fabrics for all sewing requirements and staff with sewing experience who are happy to help and advise if required.
