“Mount Nemo Conservation Area is owned and operated by Conservation Halton. This is the perfect place for hikers in Halton Parks, providing an escape from the city's crowds and hustle and bustle. Mount Nemo is a peaceful spot for nature walks. The conservation area offers excellent trails for all adventurers, featuring many roots and rocks to challenge keen hikers. The trails connect with the Bruce Trail and are approximately 8.7 kilometres long. There is a cliff edge with beautiful views, and along the way, you can enjoy spectacular vistas of the surrounding area. This 5.4-mile loop trail is generally considered a moderately challenging route and takes 1 hour and 57 minutes to complete. Mount Nemo Conservation Area also has various cave systems running through the rock. You can bring your dog for a walk and watch the turkey vultures soaring on the thermals. Mount Nemo provides free admission for children under five. The trails at Mount Nemo Conservation Area are open by reservation only.”
