I am a member of the RBG. It is one of my favourite places to visit close to home. I just visited the Laking Garden (where the peonies were at their peak) and the Rock Gardens in mid-June. Although I loved the old Rock Gardens, the newly created garden is, if possible, even better. It now focuses on perennials throughout the growing season, and is not predominantly spring bulbs, as it was in the past. The Arboretum is another favourite spot and when the magnolias and lilacs are done.

This was an amazing little stop on our museum tour. Don't let the size of the place fool you. The BEST part of this museum is that it's a guided tour. Forget all those self guided walk around and guess what you're looking at places. You have a guide take you though the home. You learn the history of the family, of the period and of course the home and all the parts which are for the most part original to the family. I 100% suggest you ask if Keri is available to take you through.

We have been to several concerts at BPAC over the past few years, and have enjoyed all of them. Part of the reason is that the concert hall is such a great venue - just the right size, and no matter where you sit, you are able to see and hear the artists perform, in a very intimate setting. We have seen David Clayton Thomas, Lunch at Allen's, Matt Dusk, the BeeGees/ ABBA tribute, Holly Cole and many other artists and have enjoyed them all. Highly recommend checking out this amazing arts centre.
