“Spencer Smith Park has a magnificent view of the lake, beach and Skyway Bridge while sitting on the breakaway, cycling, walking, and rollerblading. The park has expansive lawns for leisure activities, a naval war memorial and a Japanese garden. The park hosts various signature festivals and events. The park has Dofasco Waterjet Park, Rotary Centennial Pond, Naval War Memorial and Japanese Garden. The Rotary Centennial Pondskating in the winter months and model boat sailing in the spring-summer months.

2025 Update: Spencer Smith Park was named in memory of Spencer Smith, a former president of the Burlington Horticultural Society who was instrumental in the development of the park system throughout the city. With its lush green lawns, breathtaking views of the water, and inviting playgrounds, it’s an ideal spot for families to gather and create lasting memories. Spencer Smith Park has wheelchair accessible parking lot.”

“LaSalle Park has a variety of picturesque fields, including the waterfront area, open green space, and trails. This park is a great location to enjoy a family picnic. The park has a wading pool with a splash pad that is simply perfect for the little ones. The park has a boat launch ramp, two ball diamonds, and a playground. LaSalle Park has outdoor fitness equipment. This park contained facilities such as a beautiful spot, very well-kept grounds, and a restroom. They also offer stunning views of Lake Ontario and feature well-maintained, lush green spaces and a lovely marina.

2025 Update: LaSalle Park offers wheelchair accessibility. Dogs are allowed in LaSalle Park.”

“Lowville Park is an elegant rural park and a perfect location for a family picnic. The park has Bronte Creek, nature trails, a suspended iron bridge, dense vegetation, an old stone one-room schoolhouse and a children’s playground. The park has picnic pavilions for various special occasions. Lowville Park is a natural park on a creek with open green spaces for picnics, baseball fields, and playgrounds. There is an abundant amount of open green space to take a fresh breath and play. At this park, a playground is available with a washroom close to it.

2025 Update: Lowville Park is fully wheelchair accessible. Dogs are allowed in Lowville Park.”

Great place to walk close to the lake. Wide mostly paved paths. Tons of dog walkers and families out walking. And those biking were courteous. In summertime there are washrooms mid way down. Otherwise there was a center near the kids park that had washrooms.

Love park by the water but you have to be prepared for pay parking and it space for parking is limited.

La Salle Park is a picturesque and tranquil waterfront park located in Burlington, Ontario. This beautiful park offers stunning views of Lake Ontario and features well-maintained walking trails, lush green spaces, and a lovely marina. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, bird-watching, or simply relaxing by the water's edge. The park also has a playground for children, making it a great spot for families. With its serene atmosphere and scenic vistas, La Salle Park provides a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you're looking for a peaceful place to unwind or a lovely setting for outdoor activities, La Salle Park is definitely worth a visit.

Stopped for a minute on a cool morning. Swans, geese, mallards and seagulls all in attendance. Still to early for boats or spring foliage, but still a nice place to sit and enjoy some nature, what with the Skyway off in the distance to remind us of our day to day.

Excellent Park featuring excellent pathways and trails. Via the park, you may get to the marina. The children's play area and splash pads are kept up and run properly.

As a local guide, I found Lowville Park is an absolute gem! I can't say enough good things about this place. The natural beauty here is breathtaking, with scenic trails that lead you through lush forests and along the serene creek. Whether you're into hiking, picnicking, or simply enjoying the tranquility of nature, this park has it all. The facilities are well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's the perfect spot for a family outing, a romantic walk, or some quiet alone time with nature. I've visited many parks, but Lowville Park stands out as one of the best. Highly recommended! Restrooms: Clean and well maintained for a public park.

We were there on Victoria Day. Had not been in years, and it was a pleasant surprise how great the park has been kept up. Great parking, lots of shaded space to sit. Even the restrooms are well kept! Restrooms: Well kept! Picnic area: Clean and free of litter.

Had a wonderful potluck style picnic lunch with a bunch of families,last day of School! A great outdoor space, for all ages.
