Host India

My partner and I found ourselves in Ottawa Ontario. Earlier in the day we walked by an Indian restaurant in the city center and both were inspired to have some Indian food. Well we later found ourselves having to stay in Ottawa and looked for a place near our hotel. Host India has good reviews and we went there. Walking in the door we could smell the incredible mix of spices and food being prepared. It is like we walked into Mahabharata epic The Chicken Curry was incredible and the spicy Lamb Kadhai was just perfection. Served with fresh Naam and Tandoori Paratha to mop up the curry. Highly recommend.

I use to come here all the time because I lived just up the street from the location of this place but now that I live in the west end I don’t find myself here ever. Nothing has changed tho at all, it’s all still the same great food and in my own opinion but others I’m sure would agree it’s probably one of they best Indian restaurants Ottawa has.

Another delicious dinner from Host India this evening. It’s been over a year since I’ve ordered and was very pleased the food is still great. Definitely one of my favourite places for takeout! Their vegetable pakoras and green sauce are incredible and the woman who handled our order was very friendly and even put an extra dessert in there for us.
