3 Best Preschools in Burnaby, BC

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Dharma Kids Center, particularly Ms. Vann, Ms. Nancy, and Ms. Raman, for their outstanding hard work, patience, and compassion. After my son's ASD diagnosis, the team's support with forms, meetings, and visits from the BC Center for Ability staff has been instrumental in his progress. The teachers' support has been remarkable, and I have witnessed significant improvements in my son since he enrolled at Dharma Kids Center. Initially, I was concerned about enrolling my son in preschool due to his flight risk. However, the expertise of the Dharma Kids Center staff has alleviated all my concerns, allowing me to complete tasks without worrying about his well-being during the four hours he spends at the center. I highly recommend this preschool.

Amazing preschool! It’s stressful finding the right preschool for a toddler that has separation issues. I only had my son in there for a short time due to moving but the time my son was there they made him so comfortable and eased my mind knowing he’s in safe hands. Thank you Dharma center for making sure Atreus felt safe knowing how sad he got! I appreciate you all!.

Our daughter really loves going to your Pre-school, Ms. Van, Ms. Raman and Ms. Nancy are very caring and thoughtful. We’re happy that we enrolled her to Dharma Kids. Thank you for being part of my daughter’s preschool journey, she enjoyed the entire school year and we will miss everybody.

We had a fantastic experience at Brentwood Preschool over the last two years. The teachers are amazing at what they do, and we love that the childrens' interests guide their curriculum for the year. We thoroughly enjoyed our duty days so that we can see what goes on when they are at preschool, plus we got to know the children well. Being a part of this preschool was like being a part of a tight-knit community of teachers, parents and children. We would highly recommend Brentwood Preschool!.

My daughter is currently in the 3-year-old class, and I can't fully express how amazing this school is. The school is parent participation, but what that actually means is that the family as a whole is involved with the school. This year, we built a bridge. A bridge that the whole class can stand on. We did not just get to see the kids' final projects at the end of the school year. At this school, the parents are in the classroom a few times a year, so you get to explore the ideas of bridges with the kids or be there when the teachers showed them how to use hammers and golf tees. One night, many of the parents got together and built the frame of the bridge. In class, the kids all got together and sawed and nailed the planks of the bridge on. It is a true community that gets built through the year.

My kids attended this preschool for 2 years and it was an amazing experience!!! Great community of parents that give so much back to the school which ends up setting positive examples for the children. The teachers are dedicated and go above and beyond. In the first year, my kids attended another preschool, and it was apparent they loved Brentwood Preschool more because they would always be running in! As a result, we ended up just registering the kids for just Brentwood.
