My son started attending Sylvan's reading program last year in Grade 4. He has been attending for a year now. He enjoys going to the classes and working on the ipad and getting rewards with their reward token system. The teachers are very nice and I never have any push-back from him to go to the classes. He's always liked reading and has greatly improved in his comprehension skills and as well seen improvement in his writing abilities. The directors are very accommodating to schedule changes, very flexible and knowledgeable. There are multiple check-ins with the directors to make sure the children and the parents are on track and on the same page about the learning outcomes of the program.

My daughter recently started attending Sylvan in Burnaby to reach her full potential in math studies. Even though she has only been attending for a couple of weeks she has already said how much more confident she is feeling with math. Everyone at Sylvan have been so kind and helpful from the first moment I contacted them. I recommend Sylvan Burnaby to any parent who is looking to support their child in educational success.

Great programs great teachers and great owner. I had my son there since 3.5yrs old. My son now is in grade 1 going to grade 2. He still remembers that school was his school and it was a nice experience. Now my daughter 4yrs old (started 3.yr) enjoys being in that school. Great way to focus on academics as well as specific skill set of every kid. My son has completely different means of learning than my daughter and now Im abosultely happy my daughter's learning. I recommend this school and location to anyone who wants their child ready for Kinder / Gradeschool challenges.

My daughter loved her reading class here! Very attentive and friendly teachers with sincere and dedicated management. I felt that Michael sincerely cared about my daughter’s learning as he explained with great detail her strengths and opportunities to learn. There is also a great coffee shop next door for parents to wait and relax while class is in session. Thank you for a great experience!

I have been sending my child to Burnaby oxford for 3 years now and I see consistent progress with my child. She loves teachers and the owner’s feedback and consultation is very helpful to understand my child’s academic strength and things that need more support. Very satisfied with this learning centre.
