In 1983, founders Dave and Isabel decided to open a small bar in the basement of 14 Madison Avenue. As time passed, the pub expanded to encompass three Victorian mansions featuring multiple bars and interconnected patios. The pub's charming decks, live piano performances, and a diverse selection of locally brewed beer and homemade pub food have become its signature offerings. The atmosphere at Madison Avenue Pub is laid-back and invigorating, allowing customers to feel at ease and be themselves while enjoying the lively ambiance of one of Toronto's oldest pubs. A beloved tradition at the pub is the live performance of the Piano Man every Friday and Saturday night. This cherished act, held by the pub's team for decades, is one of the last of its kind in Toronto.
